Best Adventure Bar/ Outdoors Photos

It was a lot of fun putting together our list of 10 finalists for Best Adventure Bar in the U.S. The process was a combination of research, experience, feedback from travelers, and everybody out there on Facebook and Twitter. If you haven’t yet voted, we have a poll up on our Facebook page and I’m putting together an article featuring the finalists. All are terrific venues, and if you are in the places where they are located life is good.

Next week we are giving away more outdoor gear! Submissions for our Gear Up For Summer photo contest should be made by next Monday, May 21st. There is a lot of room for creativity—all you need to do is send in your best outdoors photos that include at least one piece of outdoor gear. Thanks again to Gregory, Vasque, and Ibex for putting up the prizes.

Other than that, Switchback Travel is on the move and exciting developments are in the works. Traffic is great. We are getting ready to add new features and expand the content significantly. Thanks to all the readers for your interest and it’s going to be an awesome year!
